Membership in the SECG is open to commercial companies, government organizations, universities and the general public. Should an organization wish to evaluate the SECG prior to officially joining, an individual from that organization may enroll for a three month trial period during which they may participate in any SECG activity. At the end of this period, unless the SECG is otherwise notified in writing of termination, the individual's organization will automatically become an official member of the SECG and the organization will be publicly identified as an SECG member.
